What has two legs, over 25 van conversions under his belt, has apprenticed for furniture designer who was featured in the Smithsonian, spent over a year learning advanced cabinetry and mechanical prototyping from the world's greatest magic illusion builder, toured the world as a musician in Sprinters, has over 150k miles of van living experience,  headed up R&D at a multi-million dollar van conversion company, left to start his own van company, and has a half decade of advanced project management experience from a Fortune 100 company to boot? 

His eye for design is genetic, but his passion for vans is... well, also genetic! A third generation van builder, his grandfather converted microbuses in the 70s into custom campers for long summer road trips, while his dad restored Westfalias in the 80s. His own passion for design was sparked with Lego and perspective drawing obsessions as a kid.  Working for his brother's construction company instilled engineering instincts and materials knowledge, while building furniture for fun  prepped his brain for high end finish work. Years at a Fortune 100 company equipped him with world-class project and time management skills (meaning your dream van is on time and on budget--every time).  A leap of faith allowed him to quit the corporate grind to tour as a professional bass player, traveling and living in all kinds of vans. This eventually led to his first conversion, Daisy, which he then lived in until moving to LA. He soon found himself working for a world famous furniture designer and illusionist, learning a unique skillset of cutting-edge cabinetry, engineering, mechanical prototyping, and materials science. Embracing his passion for vans, he began cold calling builders until one hired him away as a cabinet maker. He soon worked his way up to head of Research and Development at a multi-million dollar van conversion company, before leaving to start his own company to make even better vans.
